Who we are

SanTex Garage Doors is a garage door service business in San Antonio, Texas. This page explains what information our website collects, how we use it and who helps us handle it.

What we collect

Contact form. When you ask for an estimate, we ask for your name, your phone number and the service you need. You can also add your address or neighborhood and describe the problem. Those two fields are optional.

Phone and text. The call and text buttons on the site open your own phone app. If you call or text us, we see your number and what you tell us.

Website visits. Our hosting provider receives the standard data any web server sees: your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. This is needed to show you the site. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or session recording.

The contact form also has a hidden field that helps block spam bots. Real visitors never see it. To limit abuse, our server briefly holds your IP address in memory while you use the form. The website does not save it to a database. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, as described above.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and do the job and keep a record of the work. When you send the form, we may call, text or email you about your estimate.

Who handles it

A few service providers help run the site and deliver your messages:

• Vercel hosts the website.
• Resend delivers your form submission to us as an email.
• Google runs the Gmail inbox where we receive and keep those emails.
• Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube can provide the posts shown in our Recent work section. When their content loads, they may collect data under their own policies. Our Cookies Policy has the details.

We do not sell or share for marketing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with other companies for their marketing.

How long we keep it

Estimate requests are kept in our email account for as long as needed to respond and keep a record of the job. The website itself does not store your submission in any database.

Children

This site is for homeowners. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

Every page on the site uses HTTPS. Our server settings limit which outside services can load scripts or frames on the site. No way of sending information over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Your choices

You can browse the site without giving us any information.

If you want us to delete your estimate request, email SanTexGarageDoors@gmail.com. Tell us the name and phone number you used. We will remove it from our inbox unless we need it for a job in progress or as a record of completed work. You can also email us to ask what information we have about you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the site or our practices change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.
